Management of Mandates

An important aspect of Investment Management is the management of mandates. This relates to questions such as: "Who is member in which supervisory or executive boards?", or "Which mandates does (s)he hold?"

zetVisions solutions record the mandate holders of the respective companies. The system establishes and displays the dependencies between countries, legal forms, boards and functions of the potential mandates. The boards and functions for nine countries are by default preset in the language of the relevant country. The countries in question are DE, BE, FR, LU, NL, UK, AT, CH and USA.

For all other countries, the institutions of "Management Board" and "Supervisory Board" are available for legal forms similar to limited liability companies, whereas "Board of Directors" and "Supervisory Board" are on hand for legal forms similar to corporations. These settings can be changed in the system during customer projects so that customers can establish vernacular boards and functions for countries with particularly high activity.

When naming a mandate, the start of the mandate, the voting date, the decision-making board, a permanent deputy and an expiry date can be added. The entered mandates can also be found in the appointee’s master data.
